The Gender Assessment Report has been prepared by TaTEDO and MECS as the overall evaluation of gender equality in the Modern Energy Cooking Services for Dodoma and Kilimanjaro. Findings of this assessment may be replicated to other similar areas in Tanzania. We sincerely acknowledge the guidance provided by MECS staff. Specifically, we are grateful to Dr. Anna Clements from Gamos Ltd and Dr Louise Medland from the Loughborough University for their support to the implementation of the project and their valuable contribution on assessment of gender in Modern Energy Cooking Services. Our gratitude should also be conveyed to Community Development Offices in Dodoma and Hai Districts for their efforts on group and community mobilization during gender assessment in their districts.
