Ecook Book

The Tanzania eCookbook, general edition has been written by TaTEDOCentrefor Sustainable Energy Services as part of a research project on‘Approach to designing delivery models of modern energy cooking servicesin Tanzania.’

The project was implemented under the Modern EnergyCooking Services programme (MECS) supported by the UK Government(UK Aid) through Loughborough University and draws lessons fromthe previous Tanzania eCook study conducted in 2018 by TaTEDO incollaboration with University of Sussex, University of Loughborough andGamos Ltd.

The aim is to support the ongoing global and national effortsto switch from inefficient use of biomass to clean cooking solutions andprovide useful information as to why the transition is necessary.
